The Strain A New Tv Show

The Strain Season 01 , Episode 01 - “Night Zero” Official Plot

When a plane lands in New York City with everyone on board dead, Dr. Ephraim Goodweather, head of the CDC’s Canary Project, and his team are called upon to investigate. Harlem pawnbroker Abraham Setrakian races to the airport, convinced that what looks at first like a mysterious viral outbreak might be the beginning of something infinitely more sinister.

Yessssss!!! I am here for this vampire/zombie epidemic horror show 1000%. This shit is so up my alley. Give me all the zombie vampire shows. Every show!! Make the food network exclusively air shows where zombies bump around the kitchen trying to sautée brains to perfection. Give me the travel channel airing Anthony Bourdain style travel docs of vampires traveling across the world to visit other thousand year old vampires. Give me all of them! I literally could watch millions of these shows and never get bored!

Also the parasite apparently also gives people the ability to regrow a full head of hair as can be seen by Peter Russo’s new full head of hair. Jk he’s not a zombie vampire yet. I have no idea if he’s wearing a toupee, if he got hair plugs or if he just shaved his head for House of Cards. Idk but the most shocking thing about this episode was that Peter Russo apparently had the ability to sprout all that hair from his head all along. I’m in shock.

That is a toupee right?? I know. I ask the real questions.

True Blood S07E02 Thoughts

As True Blood continues to limp towards its conclusion its revealed Eric is dying from the vampire virus causing the mass death of all the vampires. The people on Bon Temps continue to be the dumbest redneck town ever as they declare war on all supernatural creatures (despite their collective inability to be able to wield weapons correctly or organize a cohesive group) and lastly Sookie and the rest of the gang travel to a town over only to discover the entire town had been slaughtered. Most of the episode is devoted to making the viewers miss the old days of Bill and Sookie, a reunion none of the tv fans are really clamoring for. With only a hand full of episodes left, True Blood continues to disappoint with its lazy story telling and boring characters that were once fan favorites…..

Until Next Week,

Quit Sucking True Blood

Teen Wolf Season 4 Premiere Thoughts

I thought tonight’s episode of Teen Wolf was great.  The twists kept coming and the action was great.

1. I liked how the characters were still dealing with Allison’s death. She was a pivotal character and their reactions were realistic.

2. I loved the interaction between Stiles and Lydia. They are always there for one another.  They are my OTP regardless of what happens on the show.

3. I hope we get to see more Kira. I love seeing her character develop.

4. I really, really hope they develop Malia’s character more. Her interactions with Stiles seem forced and rushed. I think she has her good qualities, but a relationship seems unrealistic.

Overall, I’m excited to see how this season of Teen Wolf unfolds.

Third Person Movie Trailer, Plot and News

The Trailer:

The Plot: Three interlocking love stories involving three couples in three cities: Rome, Paris, and New York.

Director:

 Paul Haggis

Stars:

Liam Neeson, Mila Kunis, Adrien Brody, Olivia Wilde

The News:  Paul Haggis tried to interlock with his writing style that initially worked for Crash(though what is that movie's true legacy?), but the results this time around have underwhelmed critics. Sony Pictures Classics only puts out a stinker every now and then, and we wouldn't be surprised one bit if Haggis's next project is about a disillusioned filmmaker.
